Not Fu Dogs, apparently

The Royal Ontario Museum is home to many wonderful things including this 17th-century Chinese Lion or Chinese Guardian Lion (the ROM has two, the other is more north towards Bloor Street) standing guard on the Queen's Park side. I've always known them as Fu Dogs but when I did a little digging for some info on them for this blip, I was schooled...
