The decisive moment

It wasn't my intention to catch the moment when George fell in a rock pool, thereby bringing our trip to the beach to a sudden end.

And to tell the truth, I would've preferred to a blip a happier scene. But no, he insisted this should be today's picture. Glad he saw the funny side of being dunked in freezing salt water.

In spite of being wet and cold, as we left the beach he spotted an old-fashioned-looking sailing boat out at sea. Couldn't get a good picture though, so the memory will have to do.
