bad egg?

Thought about doing this.
So I arranged it all and set it out and didn't have a clue on what angle or how I should take this. I hate this picture. It's rubbish.
I think my photography is gradually going down hill and I need something to boost it back up!! I need loads of ideas that I can choose from. And loads of little tips so I can mess about with my camera and the settings a bit more. So please can you help?
