The Rain on the Pane

Drove to Bradford for an appointment today - caught up in traffic for the last half of my journey as children were leaving school - and their parents were collecting them by car. Appointment lasted 15 minutes, drove back, rain had not eased at all, and lo..... it was chucking out time for the workers, traffic almost at a standstill. Horrid day, driving for hours in the rain. But on coming home, I knew I already had a casserole prepared so that, along with pots, carrots and cabbage from the garden made a lovely tasty and comforting dinner yum ! yum !
