His and Her Pizzas

Cynthia and I celebrated her 730th blip at La Fiamma Pizza today. She chose one of the the specials which sounded weird but tasted wonderful -- sauteed Asian pears and apples (local, of course), caramelized onions, toasted almonds, Hempler's bacon, Gorgonzola and Mozzarella, blackberry and ginger syrup, and red watercress.

My last blood test indicated that I'm slightly anemic, so to help boost my iron level I had the Meat Lovers' -- thinly sliced prosciutto, pepperoni, dry aged salami and housemade fennel Italian sausage.

It was an excellent lunch. We don't always choose the same pizza, but we agree that La Fiamma's pizzas are the best we've ever had.
