The blood test

Alex is so good with these tests now he even chooses which finger he wants used. Today his platelet count was 3. Just 3. It's to be expected but is pretty scary. They only give platelet transfusions if there is bleeding and there isn't. The leukocytes are going up which means the bone marrow is regenerating and the doctor said she has never heard of a single case of there not being a delay at this point. So fingers crossed for Monday! I've had a bad day though to finish a bad week - anxious and depressed (though Alex is happy and bright!) so I called my parents and they are coming for the weekend. I'm so pleased.
