Went for a walk this morning and it definitely blew the cobwebs away for a few hours.

This afternoon I spent an hour in school with my 9 year old and her maths tutor, learning how to help her. She has the ability to do it, but she lacks so much confidence in herself. She gives up before she even tries, yet she could mentally work the answer out in her head but was too scared to tell. I know she has the ability, her teacher knows it. We just need to get her to believe in herself. I don't envy her teachers though, she is very, very hard work!

Went out to dinner to give her a treat and met up with the in-laws too. Did a bit of conker picking on our way home too. Although not sure who collected the acorn!
