On a road trip....

Today we had the pleasure of driving on H-58 west heading from Grand Marais to Marquette. The road is a tunnel of trees and quite magnificent with color. My husband was driving and knew he had to be ready for any and all blips. All of a sudden, I yelled "STOP". On the side of the road in the low brush, I had seen a pair of Sandhill Cranes. Needless to say I was excited at the find. Unfortunately, by the time we had stopped and I was ready to shoot, the pair of cranes got wise and headed for better cover. Still, I had to blip it because it caused major excitement to us both. The blip lacks quality but makes me smile at our luck. Enjoy the day!
