Lake tekapo

We went up to the top of Mt John this morning. It is a hill in Tekapo that the University of Canterbury have have an observatory on top. It is some of the clearest skies in NZ with no light pollution at all. We are hoping the weather will stay clear tonight so we can learn some Astrophotography. We have been out and about today- it is fun meeting photography friends in the strangest places. We spent a lot of time photographing birds- especially Crested Grebes at Lake Alexandrina. This is a view of Lake Tekapo from the coffee place on top if Mt John!!!!!
