Helping Hand

Had a lovely afternoon and evening over at my sister's. Popped out to the shops and just hung around the house... but that's entertaining enough with a wee one :o)

She's grown so much and yet is still so tiny!

I changed my first nappy and the little lady was polite enough to not pee all over me... or even get too grumpy about the whole affair! I was pretty chuffed. She was pretty good while I filed her nails too! I was also pleasantly entertained by bouncing her about after her feeds... One time, I was chatting to the boy on his break: felt oddly nice to be looking after a baby and talking to my fella in his work break...

I ended up staying later than planned as Anna-Gwen decided to be very awake just before I left and gribbled as though she wanted feeding again... but prolly didn't really. Unfortunately my sister and her husband (who was recently awake and getting ready to head off for the nightshift) just sat down to eat dinner... and so I spoilt the lil' one a bit and kept her entertained while they had a meal together.

Will be visiting again on Tues to see her friend's wee one also and catch up with them again. all being well we're popping over on Friday with everyone, including Paul... who will be meeting my family for the first time. Bless him, he's a touch worried about it all; I hope he'll find himself proved pleasantly wrong.
