These butterflies use their colouring as a defensive strategy. When open, the eyes on the wings frighten off potential predators. Went out for a walk today and there were lots of them around. It's that time of year I guess. Everything is very autumnal.

Anyway, have played around with the image I got. I wanted to try and switch the focus a bit so I used multiple layers with varying degrees of blur, opacity and saturation.
