Working Together
I bought this watercolour painting at a show by a local artist, Trevor Boult, last summer. He is a well known Warwickshire artist, famous for paintings of countryside, wildlife and canal scenes. This painting shows two well matched horses being put to the plough - a scene that would have been very familiar on farms round here right up to around the 1960s. I'd previously bought prints by Trevor of some canal scenes, but when I unexpectedly got a tax rebate last summer I decide to buy two of his original watercolours.
You can find out more about the artist and his work HERE.
