Findhorn Bay
The day before the big one. We walked to Findhorn Bay and spotted the seals on Culbin Sands. I chose a selection of pebbles for Fred to choose from. He's decided not to have a ring, so I offered him a pebble instead. Male gentoo penguins give a pebble to their chosen one, so it's a bit of role reversal and I'm not a penguin, but it's acceptable somewhere in the natural world.
After stocking up at the shop we headed back to Caledonia Cottage for breakfast in the conservatory watching the bees and sparrows.
We had second breakfast at the Blue Angel Café before meeting Judi to go through the wedding ceremony and anything we hadn't thought of. It's all coming together.
Dad and Rory came through to drive us to Elgin where we collected our marriage schedule. We treated ourselves to lunch and met Sarada for a wander around Elgin.
Fred and I had the evening to ourselves. We walked back to Findhorn Village for pizza at The Bakehouse cafe. On the walk back, we heard the seals singing from Culbin Sands.
