Balloon man

There is a person in there somewhere. How he gets in or out or manages to sell his wares is a mystery.
He is at Goose Fair, which dates back more than 700 years and is generally recognised as the biggest in England. Goose Fair probably started just after 1284, when the Charter of King Edward I referred to city fairs in Nottingham.
Goose Fair was cancelled due to bubonic plague in 1646 and again during the two World Wars.
1927 was the last year it was held in Old Market Square in Nottingham City Centre, and nowadays it is at the Forest Recreation Ground.
