How could this happen?

Today OB and I went for a walk with our friend Adrian on the old railway track from Llanfoist. I might have blipped fungi, or a view of the canal, or even OB and Adrian. But on the way back we saw this sorry sight.

Who did this and why? I think it is Babar and it looks as if someone has put out his eyes and then dumped him on the bin. He must have been there overnight as he was soaked. I weep for him.

Update on the day: Too much spinning in Salsa made me feel dizzy and sick, so I know what it's like for those peeps on Strictly. Recovered now. And heard good news from a friend!
