Wiggle

Cathaber and friend Adrian and I walked up part of the old Abergavenny - Merthyr railway line this morning. The line was closed in the 1960s and is now a cycling and walking track. It's a gentle gradient on the way out (not so gentle for trains!) and downhill coming back, and it crosses the Monmouthshire and Brecon canal at this point, just near Govilon. A very idyllic and peaceful walk, as long as cyclists rings their bells or shout before they zoom past you! A bit of sun would have picked this blip up enormously, but we have to settle for it not raining.
