China Town

It just had to be done! We came to this area in the Spring and promised ourselves another visit to Liverpool. This time we found the entrance archway to China Town where even the street names are written in two languages. Liverpool boasts one of the oldest Chinese immigrant populations in this country. This arch measures 13.5m high and was brought piece by piece in five 40ft containers from Shanghai, Liverpool's twin city.
