Clouds and Flowers

We were planning on going to the coast, as that was my choice for my birthday. However, we knew we were taking chance on the weather and it failed us. The mist hardly lifted and showers were frequent. So we had some lunch in Corbridge and on the way back we used a break in the rain to walk up onto Hadrian’s Wall at Caw Gap. You can see the sun trying to break through, but the dark clouds rolling in again. Look large.

When we got home, I found the most beautiful bouquet of flowers had been delivered. A gift from my wonderful daughters. I was going to blip those, but decided to wait a day or two to let them open up a little.
