This is Mom's best friend, Claudette. She is also my good friend. She is the most wonderful person I know - and my mother agrees with me.

She is a retired pastor. I think having that vocation requires you to be a kind individual; one to whom you can talk to and confide in. She is all of that and more. One of the most humorous people to be around, too.

She loves butter pecan ice cream, as she's showing you here, and she loves my Mom's soft, leather sofa - and has the biggest, loudest snore I've ever heard .
