Anne & the Koh-i-noor

A full on day of exploration. The morning spent puttering along the canals of Amsterdam in a little hire boat, speeding past pedaloes & wallowing in the wake of the big tourist cruisers - fun but rather nippy. We had tickets in the afternoon for the Anne Frank house, the children were non too keen beforehand but I think both (especially the teen, who actually wasn't the first of us to finish through the house) found something there - it's certainly a worthwhile and thought provoking experience. At the end of the road for the Anne Frank house we spotted an Indian restaurant. These tend to be few and far between in Germany so whenever we aren't in Germany we usually manage to find an Indian and a Chinese restaurant. Fortunately we didn't turn up on spec because it was full and turning people away, it was so good the teen & I are lobbying to go back tomorrow...or is that a bit sad?
