In The Canyons Of Your Mind

I've been riding to work past this behemoth construction project for over a year. Yorkshire Water have built this to provide flood relief for a street of old houses near the hospital. It is just over 12 metres deep to the floor and there are 4 metres of concrete below that. I've been itching to know what it looked like...

Well, if you don't ask, you don't get... so I did! Big shout for Mark (site manager) and Paul (site foreman) of Bentleys for sorting the permission from Yorkshire Water to allow me onto the site and take some images.
