I picked my DSLR up from sensor cleaning this evening and did a bit of exploring on the way home, including going down a single track, no through road. I got a nice but boring pic of Gilston church catching the evening rays.

I've decided to post this. I took it with my very old Canon Ixus. This is what a sensor fail looks like. Prettily pink with a sort of melting effect.

The ivy outside my back door has just come into flower and was swarming with bees, flies and hoverflies this morning. This is a huge bee. Maybe a buff-tailed humble bee queen?
