Working Late

I used to work for organisations where it wasn't unusual to still find people in the offices past 8:00pm. We would get a bite to eat at 5:00pm and head back in for another stint until the coffee stopped having any effect. It was feasible because back then none of us had families to go back home to and the office was actually the more interesting place to be.

Tonight I was one of the last to leave the office, and it felt surpisingly nostalgic.
