Bald Eagle: An Unexpected Spectator

It is always a thrill for me to see a Bald Eagle. These are very large birds (wingspan of 6-8 feet). I have seen only a few. This eagle was perched in a tree above the cross country course.

Makes for a much better blip than what I had planned (cross country runners...)! Maybe next week...
