The road to Bouake

The road from Abidjan to Bouake; motorway to Yamoussoukro and then onto a good paved road that takes you through the weavers' villages. Along the roadside, young men sit at huge looms, entangled by spider webs of brightly coloured thread that winds its way through trees, rounds lamp posts. From this apparent chaos come the beautiful fabrics that are typical Baoule.
