For all you lovers of sluice gates.....

..... don't be shy now, I know there are a lot of you out there. These are the complex controls on the sluice of one of the locks on Thomas Telford's Caledonian Canal. Normally the box is shut, but maybe the lock keeper sensed I was looking for a photo opportunity.
