Family Fun!

There was such a lot of activity in George Square today - hundreds of children, parents, officials and spectators had gathered for the toddlers, children and family events of the Great Scottish Run. Great atmosphere and enthusiasm ...... many of the youngsters looked as if they could have outrun their parents! The highlight for me was to see Haile Gebrselassie starting one of the races. He is such an icon in the world of athletics.
