Street food fest ....

.... we had no real plans for today so, once we caught up with some friends we ventured into Manchester for the street food festival.

Fabulous veggie pad Thai, freshly made, a cheeky beer to wash it down, live music and even some sunshine.... All under the watchful eye of Albert!

Bit of shopping followed by a spontaneous trip to Slattery's chocolatiers and Patisserie for afternoon tea! Not exactly on the way home but we heard it being talked about on the radio as we were about to leave Manchester and decided to check it out. (Will blip the beautiful cakes tomorrow, when I will spend all day marking and planning)

Today's blip is of a macaroon stall at the street food festival.... Looks amazing, but I can't stand the things ....
