Dalry House

Had a great day today which included seeing a brilliant production of 'The 25th Annual Putnam Spelling Bee'. Here is a blip of nearby Dalry House.

Dalry House, built about 1661, probably for the Chieslie family. The house was reputedly haunted by a member of the family who was hanged for a shooting in 1680. Once set in extensive grounds, the house is now surrounded by tenements.

I hope everyone has had a good Saturday.
