We had a lovely walk up the river and sat there enjoying the warmth for easily over an hour, watching the farm doing what a farm does, watching the reed warblers and herons. It never seems to matter how many times I have on the river I always appreciate the peace and scenery and most of all the company of Karen.
Noticed these locks on one of the gates and thought they could be interesting close up with the backdrop of the scenery.
