Good Crieff
A drive through the back-roads of Fife, Clackmananshire and Perth & Kinross today; through Dunfermline and Auchterarder to Crieff. It was one of those early autumn days that always take me back years, to drives in the countryside with my parents in our white Ford Consul or with friends from university in my (even then) ancient Austin A30.
Once you get off the motorway it's almost like being back in the late 1960's around here. Except that the railways are gone. And you can buy a decent cup of coffee.
The countryside was stunning today, half of the trees seemed on fire. But I didn't stop to take any photographs, so here is a bike in King Street, near Delivino where we had lunch.
