Ilkley Literature Festival

Today a friend and I went to Ilkley for 2 events at the Literature Festival. This festival goes on for 3 weeks and is in its 40th year. There are so many tempting events. We went to a live broadcast of Any Questions hosted by Jonathon Dimbleby.
For anyone interested the panelist were Patrick McLoughlin Secretary of State for Transport, John Kampfner an advisor to Google on freedom of expression and culture, Lisa Holdsworth TV scriptwriter and Rachel Reeves Shadow Chief Secretary to the Treasury ( no 2 to Ed Balls)
Inevitably there was a question about the feud between Ed Milliband and the daily mail and Lisa Holdsworth brought the house down when she said that she wouldn't even line her hamster cage with the daily mail!

It was clear where the views of the audience were so hence I am not giving that paper capital letters!!!
