A day of history

JP and I had a day of visiting National Trust places. Firstly we went to Nuffield Place - a really interesting house which was the home of Lord Nuffield- the founder of the Morris car company. The house was set up with furniture and items from the 1930's and scarily many things looked very familiar- not that I was around in the 30's I hasten to add!. Next went to Greys Court- home of the Brunner family. Lovely old house with extensive and very interesting gardens. The photo was taken in part of the kitchen gardens. Lastly we had a quick visit to Cliveden - home of Nancy Aster. Lovely gardens once again and the tea shop was excellent. What a lovely day and even the weather was kind to us.
