Almost Spent

The summer blooms here in the Midwest are almost spent. My tomatoes are too. The weather is Fall-like and I'm pretty sure the plants are nearly done, unless we get a heat wave - which could happen, but not in the next five days according to the weather man.

I'm tired too. I'm almost spent. I sort of feel like I could shut myself in this winter and cuddle under a blanket in front of the fireplace and do nothing but knit.

That would be different. And sounds pretty good at the moment.
