And yet again a Rose

We visited a friend today for coffee and I found this shy rose with its face turned away from us as it sought the sun. The photograph was taken through a french window as I sought to while away the time between coffee and chat.
As usual I felt a bit of a fraud since we had visited Dorothy to console for having the misfortune to be suffering from a bad cold. You see I was able to sit back in luxury while Dorothy produced coffee and cake and fussed around to make us welcome-- no doubt the old adage, "Feed a cold . . . .etc " was at work but -we did not have colds!
The patient's hospitality shone;the shy rose turned its face away in embarrassment!
