A Grand Day Out

A trip up to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park today. It has been a day of walking and chatting with a few sculptures thrown in, some of which we loved and some of which we weren't impressed by. There was one that was impressive from one angle - glimpsed above the hedge looking across the lake - but less than impressive when viewed from the other side of the lake as it was actually stuck on the roof of a shed straight out of B&Q! We also saw gorgeous highland cattle, proper red toadstools and had tea and cake sat outside looking across the fields. It has been a tough job choosing tonight but this shot seems to sum up the day of sculpture, landscape and seats perfectly positioned to soak up the view.
