Isle of Wight Steam Railway

I had a great day out at the Isle of Wight steam railway today. I was part of a group on a coach trip from Ashford, Kent. Everything ran smoothly. We even caught an earlier ferry. There has been good restoration work on the rolling stock with one train formed of bogie coaches and the other of four-wheeled stock. Two original IoW locomotives were in steam and this is one of them, No.8 "Freshwater" in Southern Railway green livery. Here it is running round the train at Smallbrook Junction.
