Way out

This is out of the train window at Reading station. One of the stranger consequences of its renovation.

We were on our way to see a compelling production of 'Othello' at the National Theatre. Setting it in a contemporary barracks may sound odd but it made a lot of sense. Certainly the best production I've seen and worthy of the standing ovation the cast received.

Very many thanks for the response to Jennifer's portrait yesterday. I sent her a link to the blip and had an email from her this evening: 'Well all quite unexpected comments, very interesting. We did well, didn't we.'


Edit - how weird - my only other blip of Reading station was exactly one year ago.
