Our dining companion
We finally went to Timberyard tonight for a treat and it was absolutely superb. The awesomeness began when we were shown to our table and a waitress brought over this giant fat pigeon statue for our table. The food was stunning. As the menu listed each dish's ingredients as opposed to how they were cooked, there was an element of fun discovering how it was all cooked. I started with juniper smoked pigeon, then partridge with celeriac and chanterelles, then lamb loin and belly with beetroot and kohlrabi, and ended with elderberry, creme fraiche and meringue. Yum yum yum ... Highly recommended.
