Good Weather for Ducks

The promised rain finally arrived . It didn't stop us from going out to find a blip. We stopped at the marina and I was thinking the blips of the sailing class would work, but I was disappointed, So, we walked over to the pilings and there were lots of ducks frolicking. Perhaps they went there for cover from the open waters or maybe the fishing is better. Anyway, I chose these two...a Common Merganser and Blue-winged Teal. If you look at their feathers, it will give you an idea of how the wind was blowing. At times, the Merganser looked liked it had a crest similar to a woodpecker. More fun!!
