Mercado Fish Vendor

It took an extra day, but I did eventually get my full face photo of this fish vendor at the local mercado. Didn't get her name, but she was happy to have her photo taken as we were buying two kilos of fresh red snapper to cook for our friend who are arriving this afternoon from Washington State. Rather than head to a restaurant for Sheri's fiftieth birthday we have decided to cook for them at the apartment. That should give us more time to chat and also let them get to bed a a reasonable hour as they are likely to have been up quite early (when they arrived they said they had awoken at 3:30 am). It was fun to have my wife along on this trip to the market as her Spanish is much better than mine and was able to communicate what it was she wanted from the various vendors (we also bought fresh vegetables for tonight's dinner). Absolutely love going to the mercado, always a treat both photographically and culturally.
