Misty morning

Well, perhaps blip thought I would be finished after loading my first year of images? It took me 4 tries to publish today's! Anyway, many thanks to all of you who pushed yesterday's image to the spotlight page... an incentive not to bow out yet?

Today has been a perfect spring day in Christchurch. Down here at the bottom of the hill, we were initially enveloped in thick mist, but higher up the hill at our house, it was clear. We spent most of the day gardening, trying to catch up with rampant spring growth. This picture was taken from our deck back down the hill, when we came home to clear up this afternoon for dinner guests tonight. The advantage of a small place: not too much clearing up to do!
