olympia

autumn has arrived. and today was full of finds and friends. first, Leah and I went to a vintage yard sale and found yet another typewriter and yet another Land Camera. the Olympia is from the late 50s, made in West Germany, solid and clean. Just put in a new ribbon and it works great. Put in a battery and a film pack into the Polaroid and it too is in top shape. Did we need these? Obviously not, but you know how it goes.

After all that, Leah headed in to work and I headed to the fundraiser for Planned Parenthood hosted by the Bicycle Betties, our local female social cycling club. Just missed the beautiful rain storm when we got back from the short ten mile ride around town. Then to the T/P for the huge Octoberfest party. I just had one beer. One 36oz. five pound stein of cold, amber goodness.
