'Pugsley at The Pub'

A nice and productive day at home this morning. I got up on the roof and totally cleaned out the gutters with a small brush and the hose, followed by fetching a few barrow loads of rocks from the back paddock for a new rock wall which MsMun has started building adjacent to the entry path to our front door, then swept up the driveway and moved about half a cubic metre of soil from one of our old veggie beds to a new location and then our football obsessed son wouldn't stop nagging me for a footy challenge, which ended in a draw.

After a nice lunch of Nachos, I headed up to St.Andrews Pub to watch Pugsley Buzzard perform with a tuba player and a drummer. I just love his gravely raspy vocals and funky New Orleans style piano playing. Had to wait until they had finished their first set before taking any shots as I always like to ask first, and he didn't have any issue with me snapping away. He sounds like a cross between Tom Waits, Dr.John and Professor Longhair if you can imagine that combination.

First night of daylight savings tonight, it's now 7:10pm and still light, getting the kids into bed at a reasonable hour now starts to get a bit tougher.
