Dawn from Ormond Hill, on the Black Isle. Looking over the Inner Moray Firth towards Ardersier. There was a castle here. It "was one of the largest Medieval castles built in the Highlands" according to this frosted sign, I snapped a few years back. If that link doesn't work, we'll try Wikipedia.

Set the natural alarm clock last night (a glass of water before going to bed), and it (Nature's call) duly woke me early this morning. So another Blip uploaded early on the day it was taken. Two days in a row. Unprecedented. Made easier with dawn now being at a more civilised hour. There was jogging through a dark wood involved, to get here in time. Tawny Owls hooting along the way. Some Brambles eaten on the return.

Nice to have a shower, and then breakfast after the days outing. Work to do now, alas.

[Was hoping for some sort of telephoto shot, hence the tripod. Glad I took a wide-angled lens, as this view was much better today, well, that's my opinion...]
