The day began with a 7 mile run in the cold darkness, but ended in cool, sunshine. My longest in a long time, and I could feel it. Still great though.

Kids went "hunting" with M. A bit more like a long nature walk dressed in camp…what fun they had.

Then the day took off…
chores around the house
a great soccer game
play outside

And finished with sausage and veggies cooked over the fire. Followed by smores of course.

It felt like the perfect autumnal day.
