October rose

Imagine my surprise, having expected to be blipping autumn leaves from my walk along the Water of Leith this morning (to brunch in the Roseleaf followed by afters in Truva), when I found some roses in bloom. Unsurprisingly, the insects are still quite active. I saw at least one bumble bee as we walked down the river.

Of course, there are lots of red leaves as well. Maybe I'll blip one tomorrow.
