Bournville

Went to visit a friend today who I haven't seen in ages. It was good to see her and chat with her. As we took a walk around the area my opinion of Birmingham has definitely increased, there are some nice areas there. Was a bit annoyed I didn't bring my proper camera or take a better picture. I enjoyed seeing the old and the new together, trains and barges, as well as the symmetry. This was a sight lost on most people - the wall you had to peer over was 6 foot tall. There are some benefits of being tall - you do pay for them by hitting your head.
