Cragside Gardens

We visited Cragside in Northumberland today and went for a walk through the woodlands. I soon realised that I wasn't up to it. My breathing was laboured as a result of my recent heavy cold.

We did stumble across this ... I'm not actually sure what it is but it's been carved using a chainsaw out of a felled tree which is approximately six feet in diameter.

A fantastic piece of art work.
