I'll Pass
Father-in-law's birthday today, so to celebrate we took him to The Pass restaurant in West Sussex - a Michelin-starred adventure, based on the 'Chef's table' concept. It was hard work; three hours of ploughing through seven different courses of exquisite food, including horseradish ice cream, fizzy grapes, cauliflower foam, and soy sauce panna cotta. After which I needed a lie down for the rest of the day.
I hope Pa's grateful.
